OK, who does not like ranch dip? But at almost 200 calories per serving and lots of stuff in the bottle you cannot pronounce, is it really the best choice to dip fresh veggies in?

This recipe was found at www.mindbodygreen.com and is to die for! You can opt for the dairy free or vegan mayo version, depending on your dietary needs.

Ingredients

  • 1 large avocado
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup fat-free yogurt (use Greek yogurt if you want a thicker dressing)
  • 1 tsp. hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

Simply combine all the ingredients in a food processor and ta-da! You have guilt-free ranch dressing to enjoy to your heart’s content!
